OUR EDUCATIONAL MODEL

Primary (K-1st  &  2nd-4th)

Our primary students pray together daily and learn bible stories and the important truths they teach. They learn the importance of being kind and courteous.

The academic program is based on Child Development and Brain Science. We know that younger children learn best when thematic connections are made and in a positive learning environment where social skills are developed. Fun makes the learning more significant and provides greater opportunities for rigor.

We make sure our primary students develop a strong foundation of developmental and intellectual skills, setting them up for excellent academic success.

Middle (5th-8th)

Our middle students pray and study the bible daily. They participate in a 4-year survey of the Old and New Testament, learning church history and God’s truths. Memorizing verses, reading and discussing, and monthly chapel are the cornerstones of their biblical studies. All this points to Christ as Lord and Savior.

The academic program is based on Brain Science and Pedagogy, the science of teaching. The students develop effective learning and processing skills to be self-directing and self-correcting. These proficiencies allow students the ability to work hard and keep at it until the job is done well, and the learning is maximized.

A variety of critical thinking, collaborative and experiential learning opportunities round out a learning environment that inspires the students to excel.

High School (9th-12th)

Our High School students pray and study the bible daily. They study the bible for the purpose of identifying their purpose and His perfect will for their lives. The knowledge of His love for them drives their efforts to worship Him and serve others.

The high school students participate in a highly individualized academic program that is premised on their abilities to work independently and responsibly. Students set personal learning goals and are responsible for their own success.

Our students participate in Early University.  This means that as Juniors the majority of their coursework is actually through Grand Canyon University, gaining college credit and high school credit simultaneously.  When our students graduate high school, they have at least an entire year of college completed.

Early College - Dual Enrollment  |  Minimum units earned - 32  |  Average GPA - 3.71
